This problem also causes an annoying condition where the game freezes 0,5 seconds for every 10th second or something. (We haven't tried XP or Windows 95 compability modes yet, maybe they will erase the problem.)Īlso, the windows version of Heroes2 have an issue where no cd music is played if you have more than one drive and the game cd is not in the first drive. There were some glitches where the cd music would disappear but it would work again after a restart. It also works on my nephews Windows Seven.

The Windows version of HOMM II (with PoL) works great on my XP system.
